Buyer Broker Commission

Qualified real estate broker(s) representing buyers of property for sale by Commonweal Conservancy, Commonweal Communities, or the organizations’ designated seller broker, will be paid a commission equal to 5% of the property’s transacted sales price. Broker commissions will be paid from the proceeds of a successful closing.

Commonweal’s buyer broker commission commitment applies to parcels in Southern Crescent owned and marketed by Commonweal Communities. All properties in the West Basin, New Moon Overlook, East Preserve and Conservation Ranches neighborhoods have been sold to private buyers; any listings associated with these neighborhoods will be handled separately and independently through the property owners and their chosen representative(s).

Commonweal Availability

Commonweal staff is available to preview lots, answer questions, and accompany property tours with brokers and/or prospective buyers. We can also meet with brokers and their clients at Commonweal’s offices to provide context for the available properties and present an overview of the larger Galisteo Basin Preserve initiative.

Ted Harrison is available to facilitate phone and email communications and to provide property information, marketing materials, and timely responses to broker/client questions. In our experience, selling the uniquely designed properties of the Galisteo Basin Preserve requires a hands-on commitment to the sales process, and we are happy to support brokers’ efforts however we can.
